Impressions

The other day Carson came to the kitchen to tell me all about the progress he is making in his Lego Indiana Jones video game. He's learned this and that...conquered here and there...earned points galore...you get the idea. At the end of his speech he said, "I REALLY impressed myself mom!"

He's a funny one, that Carson.

I told him that I was impressed too. And I wondered if I've ever impressed my own self before? Hmm.

That is impressive!!!!!! I've tried that game and am a complete failing idiot! I've got a girl in this family who on her way to school pulls down the visor - looks for a while - puts the visor up and proudly says, "Oh, I look so cute today". Where does one get such amazing self esteem? It cracks me up each time she does it. I don't think I've EVER said that about myself. I think I'm going to start!...why not!

ha! He's a cute kid. I'm glad he feels that way about himself. Maybe he could teach me a thing or two!
