When we found out that my younger brother Chaz was coming home from Afghanistan for R&R via the DFW airport, we were so excited!! His wife, Sara (and their two boys), decided to come hang out at our place for a couple days to be here for his big arrival. He had to fly from Afghanistan to Kuwait to Germany to here...it was a crazy itinerary and one riddled with delays! I think the waiting and waiting almost killed Sara! Haha! But, it turned out great for my boys, because he ended up flying in at about 3pm, so they were able to go to the airport to meet him too. Of course, they had to dress up in their camo suits first though. We were all excited to hold a huge banner and balloons to welcome our Captain home! It was a very touching experience seeing all those troops exit the terminal and be greeted by their loved ones! A real tear-jerker if ever there was one! We're so proud of our soldiers!!
