After putting the boys to bed the other night, I continued to hear Nixan and Treyson chatting. The chatting turned into banter, which turned into some not-so-good-natured teasing. I decided to ignore them...let them work it out on their own (I know...wishful thinking, huh?). But then the teasing led to yelling and crying, with Treyson getting out of bed.
Me: Treyson why are you out of bed?
TJ: Cause Nixan keeps saying I have red hair. I do NOT have red hair.
Me: Well TJ, actually, you do. Not RED, red hair but....
TJ: NO I DON'T!!
It's GOLDEN. I have Golden hair!!
Well said Treyson. Take that Nixan.

Oh my gosh, that is too, too cute! Maybe you could take the approach that hardly anyone has red hair; it's the most rare color. Thus the people who actually have it are ultra-special. :)
