A little math equation for you. According to the National Center for Health Statistics, the average life expectancy is 78 years. So, subtract 8.5 yrs of marriage, 1 post-mission year, 2 years serving in London, and the 18.5 years growing up in the most beautiful place on earth and then you realize that Nick only has about 48 yrs left! Guess that's what happens when you turn 30!

Wishing is a very serious matter when you're 30, so don't be too hasty!

I can't believe he's 30...in my mind he's still that same 21 year old guy I married. It wasn't that long ago. I'm so glad to know that 30 is the new 20! (cause let's face it...I'm not too far behind him). And in honor of being a new 20, I'd like to indulge myself in listing 20 things I Love about Nick, in no particular order:

1) He loves me, faults and all. 2) He loves his kids and spoils them almost rotten. 3) He is the hardest worker I know! 4) He is an amazing artist. 5) He has a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. 6) He is smart. 7) He laughs at all my lame jokes...making me feel quite witty. 8) He can sing really well, although he never admits it. 9) He looks exceptionally hot when he wears his glasses home from overnight-call at the hospital. 10) He'll watch chick-flicks with me. 11) He likes to plan FHE. 12) He is punctual. 13) He goes grocery shopping with me! 14) He compliments me everyday. 15) He is always frank and honest...even with the kids...answering any of their awkward questions. 16) He always wants to be better. 17) He hates sleeping in and "wasting the day away." 18) He's tall...I just love that. 19) He likes a good R&B/rap song every now and then. 20) He's my LOVER! [blush]
