Who gets letters from Afghanistan?!? WE DO! It was pretty cool to get our first letter from Uncle Chaz! The boys loved it, of course. Even more, they loved the cards Chaz sent. On one side of the card is a picture of the Kiowa helicopters (that Chaz flies). On the other side is a picture of Osama Bin Laden and Arabic writing (basically a "wanted" poster for the guy). Chaz said they throw these cards out of their helicopters...offering monetary rewards for information...trying to get the Afghan people to be informants. My boys thought they were awesome...I mean, they had REAL Arabic on them! Wow! You bet those cards were taken to school the next day to show off.
Side note: Congrats to Chaz for making rank and becoming Captain Allen!
