First Day of School

Carson is in 3rd grade this year. He continues to love school and learning. I almost can't keep up with him. The other day in the car, he quizzed me on how many nanoseconds were in a minute. Hmm...I told him I'd need a calculator for that one. He spouted out some number and I honestly couldn't tell him if he was right or wrong!! That's not supposed to happen. At least not yet, right?






Nixan is a first-grader! He was super excited to be back in school too....he loves his friends and his autonomy away from home. He's always a little shy and reserved at the beginning of the year, but I'm hoping this year he'll get over that fast. He has Carson's old teacher...so that is good. We liked her. Nixan is really good about doing his homework. He likes to get things done. Except reading to mom....that's no fun at all.
