Nixan's favorite baseball team is the Giants....so we decided to go to a Diamondback's game when the Giants came to town. I was excited to see Chase Field....it's such a cool arena! Literally! It's air conditioned (sure beats watching the Texas Rangers at their stadium!). However, if the weather is mild, the roof can retract and Chase Field becomes an outdoor stadium. Pretty neat...and we got to watch it happen. When we first arrived, the roof was closed and the AC was running. But about mid-way through the game, when the sun had gone down, the roof opened up and a nice, warm, desert breeze blew in.
Sage was less than impressed with the stadium and the game. If it wasn't for concessions, she'd have been one unhappy child. (Right after this photo was snapped, we made it on the jumbo-tron! The boys loved seeing themselves on the big screen!)

When the food ran out, Sage tired out! But she was good and made it through the entire game. And she only fell through the folding seat once, haha! She did share some of our "neighbor's" popcorn. They kept handing some to her and she happily partook!

One last side note: I hate the nick-name D-backs for the Diamondbacks!! Everybody in AZ uses it, including sports commentators and reporters. All I hear is "D-bags," which most people know is a NOT a nice term. It's like nails on a chalkboard when I hear "D-backs." Yuck.
